Since the end of March, the Bitcoin price has been hovering between $28,500 and $26,900. Then overnight, Bitcoin surged, breaking out of this price range and rising above the psychologically important $30,000 mark. Bitcoin was last above this psychologically important mark on June 7, 2022.
Currently, Bitcoin is trading at around $30,066(as of 9:25 a.m.), according to analyst firm Coinmarketcap, which may again be below this mark. Thus, Bitcoin was in the 24-hour comparison six per cent in the profit zone. Yearly, the price of the oldest cryptocurrency is thus 80.7 per cent in the plus.
