German fund company DWS has appointed André Bajorat (LinkedIn) as head of the new Digital Strategy, Products and Solutions division. Bajorat is to take over the department on September 1. According to a statement, Deutsche Bank‘s fund subsidiary wants to bundle all activities related to digital assets and currencies, digital channels and software interfaces in the new division.
In addition, Alexander Bechtel will move from Deutsche Bank to DWS on October 1. He is to head the digital strategies team in the new division. Barbara Nitschke, previously responsible for Digital Asset Management at DWS, will manage digital products and solutions in the new unit. Bechtel and Nitschke will report to Bajorat. The latter, in turn, is docked with Manfred Bauer, who represents the Product Division on the DWS Executive Board.
