Fintech pioneer and serial entrepreneur Bill Harris launched Nirvana Money (website), an accessible credit card product designed to simplify money management for middle-income people. The company plans to combine the best features of a credit card, bank account and rewards program into a single card.
Bill Harris has founded nine financial technology companies and was the founding CEO of PayPal and Personal Capital and CEO of Intuit. The company opened its headquarters in Miami in May 2021 and is the latest company to migrate from Silicon Valley to the growing innovation hub of Miami, bringing notable former employees to develop world-class technologies.
The team includes Chief Technology Officer Raghu Battula, who previously held senior positions at Apple and Playstation; Chief Marketing Officer Vishal Sapra, former CMO at CareerBuilder; Brenda Rideout, former CEO of Tangerine Bank; and employees from American Express, Capital One, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, Meta, Ripple and Square.
“Nirvana Money helps those ready to have a different relationship with money,” said Bill Harris, founder and CEO of Nirvana Money. “A relationship with less worry, more control and even some fun to get on the credit and savings ladder and live a healthy financial life.”
The initial product offers members a line of credit that can be increased when they deposit their paychecks directly into the account.
