The Austrian Elfriede Sixt (Twitter) is a certified public accountant, tax consultant and author of the books Schwarmökonomie und Crowdfunding and Bitcoins und andere dezentrale Transaktionssysteme: Blockchains als Basis einer Kryptoökonomie, published by SpringerVerlag. Sixt has been involved with digital business models for more than 15 years and is also active as a business angel.
Elfriede started her career at Ernst&Young, where she was primarily an auditor. In the meantime she is striving for a very successful career as an independent tax consultant, futhermore, Sixt is now actively fighting cybercrime.
In 2018, Elfriede founded the “European Funds Recovery Initiative (EFRI)” with the goal of helping scam victims and working as a non-profit organization together with lawyers and politicians to improve investor protection.
Currently, she is working on a new book. “Working right now on a new book about cybercrime and financial crime enablers” stated Elfriede on Twitter.
