The African-based startup Moove (website), the world’s first mobility fintech and Uber‘s largest vehicle provider in EMEA, announced its London launch as part of its global expansion. Move has launched in Europe with a 100% electronic vehicle (EV) rental-purchase model that provides access to new zero-emission vehicles for a flat weekly fee.
Moove aims to become the largest EV partner on the Uber platform in London and plans to expand to 10,000 cars by 2025 to shape sustainable revenue opportunities and contribute to the city’s net zero emissions targets.
London is the global leader in Uber’s electrification efforts, with over 6,000 electric vehicles on the Uber platform – the most of any Uber city. With the launch of Moove in London, Uber will move closer to its goal of creating an all-electric platform in the capital by 2025.
