Mangopay (website), a payment platform that works with over 2,500 marketplaces, including Wallapop and Vinted, and companies such as Carrefour and Galeries Lafayette. The French company, founded in 2013 and with an office in Madrid, has announced opening a technology hub in the Spanish capital, which will have 25 new incorporations of profiles specialized in information technology and product manager and business development functions.
The opening of this hub, the first outside France, is part of the fintech’s development plan to boost its growth, following the injection of 75 million euros from venture capital firm Advent last April.
“This money allows us to design a very ambitious growth plan that will help us in three areas: product development, international expansion and recruitment,” Nicolas Fournié, CEO of Mangopay in our country, told Business Insider Spain.
