Artificial Intelligence solutions such as OpenAI’s ChatGPT could completely transform digital content development, Nina Schick, a consultant, speaker, and thought leader in AI, told Yahoo Finance Live. “I think by 2025, we could have 90% of online content generated by AI, so this technology is exponential,” she said. “I think AI will produce the majority of digital content. You see ChatGPT… But a whole host of other platforms and applications will emerge.”
The high interest in OpenAI‘s DALL-E and ChatGPT has sparked a broad public discussion about AI and its growing role in our world, particularly generative AI.
“ChatGPT has captured the public imagination in a very compelling way, but I think in a few months ChatGPT will be seen as just another tool driven by this new form of AI called generative AI,” she said.
It’s essential to understand what precisely generative AI is – and what it isn’t.
“Generative AI can create new things that were previously only attributed to human intelligence or creativity,” she said. “Generative AI can be creative across media, so text, video, audio, and images can drive any digital medium. So I think the valuations you’re seeing for OpenAI will go up, and you will see even more generative AI companies in 2023 that have universal applications across many industries.”
This is all still very new, as applications for generative AI “have only really come to the fore in the last 24 to 6 months,” Schick added.
