Benjamin Hoskins becomes new CTO at buy-now-pay-later fintech Billie

Billie is a buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) payments provider targeting business customers. Now the company appointed Benjamin Hoskins as its new CTO. The personnel is to complement the management to implement the upcoming internationalization.

Hoskins joins Billie (PC42 profile) from online home goods retailer Wayfair as its new CTO. Before that, the Scot spent four years as CTO and CPO leading product development at dating app provider Spark Networks (with brands including Zoosk, Elite Singles, JDate, and Christian Mingle). As European Head of Development, Hoskins was responsible for the complete development of eBay’s developer team in Europe from 2012 to 2015.

Overall, he has more than 20 years of international experience in the technology industry and is a specialist in building global platforms. To date, Hoskins has led teams of over 200 developers, product managers, UX experts, and data engineers in San Francisco, Singapore, Boston, Berlin, Bangalore, London, and Jakarta.
