BMW is shifting into gear in the direction of CyberSociety with NFTs and Metaverse. To this end, they filed patents in the USA to protect their trademark rights. In particular, the German automaker filed NFT and Metaverse patents in the USA to protect its brand. The applications relate to downloadable multimedia files and virtual garments authenticated by "non-fungible tokens." BMW also had its logo saved in virtual space.
